That's in a Hat

May 6, 2012 - May 6, 2012

Looking for inspiration this Mother's Day? Meet an Edmonton based milliner and learn the secrets to making beautiful hats.

After being a milliner assistant for the past three years at the Shaw Festival Theatre in Ontario, Jaylene Wiebe has firsthand knowledge of what goes into the construction of hats. From the base materials to the finishing touches and many things in between, she will be giving a sampling of what a modern milliner's job entails. Feathers and a history of their place in this area of fashion will also be explored.

*Please note that seating is limited and will only be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Schedule is subject to change without notice.
