The silver plate from the top of the tomb, with Chinese characters announcing its occupant as the "Prince of Qi State, Defender-in-Chief, Unequalled in Honour." Amongst several posts, Wanyan Yan was the supreme commander of the Jin armed forces during the last year of his life.
