Green-glazed vase from the Liao dynasty, 907 to 1125 A.D. Archaeologists found this elegant piece in 1952. The top of the vase is a petal-shaped cup affixed to a phoenix head. Two sets of peony and flower-and-leaf designs are incised on the belly.
