Our understanding of orcas is dependent on the ability to collect information on them in their natural conditions. QENTOL, YEN / W̱SÁNEĆ works to collect that information to further our understanding of Southern Resident Killer Whales and as an expression of W̱SÁNEĆ people's cultural relationship with the Orca.

Meet David Dick from QENTOL, YEN / W̱SÁNEĆ Marine Guardians Program’s and learn about their work to monitor the Salish Sea and ensure responsible stewardship. See some of the tools they use to monitor orcas and why this work is important.
