Learn from museum experts how to mount plant specimens and clean seeds and fruit for preservation.
Preserving and mounting plant specimens is a great way to learn about the plants around us. Soon you’ll be able to apply these skills to catalog the plant life in your area or keep track of what you grew in your garden year over year. Your prepped specimen will be kept as part of the museum's core collections.
This workshop is open to anyone aged 15+, with no previous experience necessary. All supplies are provided. General admission is included with your ticket, so come early to enjoy the museum.
